Application Packaging Analyst-Sydney - Greythorn

Description

My client is seeking experienced Application Discovery and Packaging Analyst to assist in the delivery of a large scale program stream within a complex Infrastructure Services project. Utilising your excellent discovery skills you will discuss application packaging requirements, document business requirements and develop functional specifications and business process documentation.

Skills and experience required;

• Extensive and demonstrated experience as an application analyst in a federated or multi-sourced environment.
• Solid experience of client engagement at different stages of the application packaging lifecycle.
• Knowledge of application packaging toolsets (AdminStudio Enterprise) and all associated advanced capabilities (packs), which include application compatibility assessment, desktop and virtualisation compatibility assessment, technical testing and remediation, configuration and transformation.
• Good interpersonal skills including, an ability to communicate and influence effectively in technical and non-technical discussions.
• Strong skills in liaising and negotiating with stakeholders within and outside the organisation to discuss and resolve issues.
• Experience analysing and managing applications, detailing clear and succinct technical specifications and requirements, developing suitable support documentation and reporting.
• Superior problem solving skills and excellent lateral solution thinking to deliver robust and high quality outcomes relating application management.
• Proven experience working independently, as team member, and/or with multidisciplinary teams including project management and technical architects.
• Relevant Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience with demonstrated experience as an application packaging Analyst.
• The ability to deal positively with uncertainty and cope effectively in an environment characterised by change.
