ABOUT THE ROLE

Seeking highly experienced and committed Application Packagers who are available immediately. You will manage and coordinate desktop specialist services for the packaging of desktop applications and deployment to ensure an effective desktop environment.

You will have the opportunity to make a considerable contribution to a major State Government project!

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in successfully supporting mixed Windows based desktop operating systems including Windows 2003, XP, Vista, Windows 7 and emerging technologies.
• Experience in application testing and support of hardware, software and networks for a large and complex organisation.
• Experience in application packaging and deployment methodologies, using Admin Studio for distribution via SCCM.
• Experience in planning and executing software and hardware roll-outs in a large organisation.
• Experience in undertaking successful communications with, and providing technical advice to, vendor organisations and mentoring, training and coaching a team of technical support personnel over dispersed locations.
• Previous experience working in a similar role within a complex environment is required along with a can-do attitude, exceptional communication skills and high level customer service skills.
