Job description-:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Repackaging of complex corporate applications. Includes packaging of in-house applications, and co-coordinating with developers on issues and standards
* Creation and configuration of vendor specific applications for packaging. Ensuring quality of all packages produced by the team, by carrying out QA checks.
* Performing component isolation and conflict management on packaged applications.
* Provide technical support to the Desktop Support on third level packaging issues.
* Providing regular updates and education to the users on packaging process and techniques. Assist in integrating, configuring, installing and testing infrastructure solutions/applications from multiple vendors.
* Perform comprehensive integration testing for all packaged applications
* Testing the compatibility of application with target environment.
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
Installers - Install shield, Wise, App-V 5.0 SP2
* Authoring and capturing Tools VB Scripting (WSh, WMI), Power shell * Deployment Tools - SCCM [added advantage if knows CM 2012]
* MSI technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, 6-8 yrs experience in MSI technology
* Windows 7 and migration from XP to Win7 OS and (ACT) is must
* Networking knowledge and good understanding of OS, IT Security, Middleware, etc.
MDT role management knowledge and knowledge on Build process in conjunction with SCCM 2007 technology would be an added advantage.
* ITIL framework and Change management awareness.
