Senior Software Application Packaging Engineer

Job Description

 

The Software Application Packaging Engineer will be responsible for packaging applications for Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 32 or 64 bit environments for automated delivery using tools such as SCCM, Altiris, LANDesk, etc. This also includes development of custom settings at time of installation, user interfaces during installation and other client facing features. Strong knowledge of AdminStudio, InstallShield and/or Wise Package Studio and windows installer are a must. Able to self manage packaging flow to meet service SLAs. Strong troubleshooting, testing and analytical skills required to resolved complex installation issues. Must be able to meet with and related to custom/customer/team members in order to gain requirements, test and QA applications packages
