Sr. Application Packaging Engineer - Lyn Business

Qualification & Skills
o Mandatory

• 4+ years of experience in Applicating Packaging in a large Enterprise environment (i.e. over 3000 clients)
• Strong experience in SCCM/System Centre 2007, 2012 (Design, Deployment and Support implementation)
• Good knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012 and Windows 7, 8.1
• Strong experience in Application packaging (MSI Transforms, Snapshots, ICE error fixes)
• Exposure to MDT, Antivirus (FEP) along with strong scripting knowledge (Powershell, MSI)
• Ability to use SCCM to deploy applications and patches to the desktop estate
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, AV, System Deployments and OS deployments.
o Desirable

• Any experience in Linux
• Relevant Microsoft certifications
o Personal Traits

• Good personality with communication skills
• Inquisitiveness to acquire knowledge and troubleshoot IT issues around Desktops and Networks.
• Willingness to address issues reported by users with minimal assistance through right technical means and/or right technical advice.
• Can rapidly absorb new technical information and apply it effectively.
• A good team player capable of delivering results in less than perfect circumstances.
